@gedvondur The problem is the rest of the tech market follows their lead on most things, including this. Apple is further along, but the same measures are being implemented everywhere else as well.
@kyle I admit it's a possibility, Apple does tend to suck the air out of the room, but I think their actual influence is less than their reputations.
If that heavy following does happen, some other company will get rich filling the market niche of people who want more digital freedom. The duopoly of Apple and Google for smartphone operating systems isn't forever, everything commoditizes over time.
