Attacks like this are likely not limited to Zoom (it just has #infosec attention now). If your computer has a hardware kill switch (HKS), disable camera+mic except during video conferences. @doraville6 @purism It may cover up the webcam but tape won't disable the microphone. Removing it for each video conference is also pretty inconvenient, which means you have to be dedicated and disciplined to replace the tape each time.
A piece of electrical tape also works.
