@da_667 ive been happy with ubuntu
@joshbressers @da_667 rpm, yum and how that entire ecosystem handles dependencies and updates/upgrades to packages gives me hives.
i cant have the current version of apache because to do that i have to upgrade THE ENTIRE OPERATING SYSTEM?
gtfo.
@Viss @joshbressers @da_667 I’d recommend trying Project Bluefin. IMO it is the current best desktop Linux experience you are going to get, as long as your hardware is supported.
@kyle @Viss @da_667 I heard you talk about this on @katherined podcast, it sounds very impressive
If I want so lazy I probably would :)
@joshbressers @kyle @Viss @da_667 It’s on my eventual to-do list to get a Framework and when I do I’ll put Bluefin on it. (Thanks as always for listening to us, btw)
