To anyone following the #EU #KIDS #Act, does anyone understand how the current proposal would affect #FDroid and #FOSS? From what I have seen, it seems to not directly regulate us, but I just heard that it might.

@eighthave In the Commission proposal, Article 16 on app stores will apply to FDroid. Obligations are age-rating of all applicatons and age verification. In the proposal, there are no exemptions for small service providers.
