I'm trying KDEnlive now. I was considering doing a review of a few of the Free software video editors from a newbie/occasional user persepctive. However, I've had so many crashes I'm going off the idea.

You should ask @lunduke what the version is of the KDEnlive flatpak he always keeps handy, because it is stable (unlike the most current) :)

I'm using 64 bit Linux 19.04.1c which appeared to be the latest AppImage download. Completely stable, so far.

Ah ok, I thought you were saying it you're having lots of crashes with it. Maybe I misunderstood.

OpenShot from Debian Stretch wouldn't even start. Pitivi (also from Stretch) when not crashing uses 100% + CPU. Flowblade also crashed.
