@jwinnie @purism honestly, I'm not 100% on that. It's basically muscle memory at this point to open terminal and check for updates.

I'll keep and eye out on this because it's a good question that I didn't think about for my blog post on this.

It certainly does! Admittedly I'm on PureOS KDE Plasma, but even there (secondary target) updates are easily accessible via info area icon.
What many people don't seem to understand is that Purism doesn't specifically target geeks. They're iterating on convenience, so your mom could pick up a Librem in the store and get going within minutes.
