I'm looking for a #camera that can transfer pictures and videos #wireless to a #linux (preferable #debian) computer via #wifi or #bluetooth.
I'd prefer a camera by a producer which does support linux, but any working solution is welcome.
I need an option to shoot macros (additional lens, built-in function) and I do need it to be small (no dslr).
Nice format would be e.g. DJI Osmo Action + macro lens, but didn't find information on linux compatibility.
I got the impression that one would use a WiFi SD-card, but I might be wrong.
Never used it…
@HeyRay I read about those and there are some drawbacks:
- closed source
- do not seem to work reliable
- full size sdcard, small cameras often need micro sdcards
Wouldn't like to waste money or time on circumventing vendor lock-in - I'd prefer to buy a product that ideally works with linux, because the manufacturer does support free software.
That imagination is not that wrong, it seems: https://elinux.org/Wifi_SD
