The Network Effect™. No one wants to join Mastodon because it's another account they have to maintain, and everyone they wanna talk to is already on Twitter
@zemmert @theprivacyfoundation That's true. One nice thing about the Fediverse is that I've found people worth following I didn't know before, through Trunk and just through boosts. I wonder whether that's a worthwhile selling point in the meantime?
