@giacomozucco Was asking for a friend. Really! 😉
@giacomozucco Amazing! Is there a version with English subtitles?
@alanturing Ethereum 2.0: "Easy, I just compare the latest block ID with Vitalik's node!" 😜 🧐 🤢
This is a test for proof of stake blockchains.
No matter how complicated, ask the proponent "How do I know for sure I'm connected to your POS chain?"
This question, cuts through all the complicated mumbo-jumbo in a POS white-paper.
The only solution for POS blockchains is to have an authoritative source for connecting to the chain. There is no way to simply look at a POS block and know it is authentic. It's not inherent in the block.
You are open to hackers with POS, unless you centralize.

@mattodell we must, and we can, rebuild a tor alternative on LN. Incentives for routing and relaying bytes reliably through LN. Every LN node operator is incentivized to to commit liquidity for fees, but the fees are proportional to traffic - not LN commerce. Like bittorrent, but with a financial incentive to seed. Ultimately it's a browser with fully monetized DNS and HTTP, with sats as the utility token.
@Bitcoinlabrador I started it in September and am half-way through already. ;-)
Mastodon isn't a long term solution but definitely a step in the right direction. My guess is we see real conversations disperse and exist among many different platforms and group chats of various sizes.
One tool at our disposal is keybase. We already have over 1000 bitcoiners in our group over there. Consider joining us - bitcoinkeybase.com.
@drbitcoinmd Put your fediverse handle in your Twitter name! ;-)

The web version (https://webwormhole.io) and/or its firefox/chrome plugins are also super slick!
However, wormhole apps are not inter-operable. So wormhole-gui can't share with webwormhole.io and vice versa. Not a big issue IMHO but something to keep in mind.
I would like to draw you attention to a really cool, instant, distributed, secure file sharing technology. For situations where you quickly just want to sent a file to somebody without using Dropbox, Drive, ...
Magic Wormhole

If you just want to quickly try it out, there's a GUI app here:

I can confirm Librem Social from @purism works good enough: https://apps.apple.com/us/developer/purism-spc/id1448949014
Which Mastodon mobile app do you use @stephanlivera @giacomozucco?
@stephanlivera Treat Mastodon users/followers as first class citizens. Just a little bit better, earlier. Give them an information advantage over other platforms.
