If #Nostr and other non-AP protocols aren't part of the "Social Web", then how is it that people on all protocols can effortlessly follow and interact with each other's *social* media accounts on the *Web*

For example, this mastodon.social post is going viral on Nostr at the moment:

@vbhide mostr.pub If you don't randomly see a post in your timeline already, then you can actively search for profiles. It's easier from the other side, because there's a UI for that on mostr.pub but you can construct the URI here by copying someone's public key, like so:

mostr.pub/users/1f79058c77a224

@vbhide ... there are other bridges, too, and at least one person I know is hosting his own bridge just for his own accounts.
