Might have been a good idea to read the "news" (whatever that is) before going out this morning ...

I never had the experience of being genuinely scared by the wind, before. I had to hold on to a tree for a couple of minutes before finding a path to safety.

It happened in London in 1987 but it was overnight so we just woke up to a scene of chaos, this time it's during the day.

I also saw worse storms in Shenzhen/HK but everyone knows well in advance there, with established warning systems.
