Does anyone know a good site that explains how to change the #DNS server on different operating systems? The info on https://dns.watch/how-to is rather outdated. Looking for German and/or English instructions.

Wouldn't it be better to change the DNS server in the router config?
@CryptGoat , if this would be true, it will not help you to change the DNS on your system, because they will change it via a tranparent dns-proxy.
@upgradetofreedom Naturally but in Germany many if not most internet users have all-in-one-boxes (mdem + router) provided by the ISP that often do not allow you to change the DNS settings.
