@distrotube@mastodon.technology I struggled to get Deepin OS to work on my laptop for several months before I realized I could just install DDE on top of Arco. As a true Linux end-user who knows next to nothing about what's happening under the hood, the realization that I could slap a desktop onto any OS was a game-changer. If people just love Cinnamon, it's already available on near about every operating system. I don't think it's unfair/offensive to question Linux Mint's place in the world.
