Folks, Bernie Sanders won New Hampshire.
Not Amy Klobuchar. Not somebody named "Pete and Amy." Bernie. Sanders. Won.
He won more white voters. He won more nonwhite voters. He won more voters in Iowa too.
Maybe, I dunno, "he's the one who can win"? Based on his, like, winning?

@InternetKevin because american election rules and laws are fucking BIZARRE

also SDEs don't mean anything, it's just "here's some maths we did" thing ... only state delegates count

@lashman but the number of national delegates is important, right?

@lashman I'm not American so it's more difficult for me to understand. I saw Bernie got 6000+ more votes than Buttigieg in Iowa and somehow lost by 0.1% got 12 to Pete's 14, then Bernie gets 4000+ more votes in NH but same 9 delegates. Then Kornacki, whose job is literally to explain these things, said it's all because of "incredibly complicated math".

Follow

@InternetKevin don't worry, it feels like it's being made up as they go along from within the boarders too. "Math mistakes must be kept to preserve chea-*cough* integrity." @lashman
