@TheGibson That’s why my goal for this year is to eliminate my reliance on Google(done except duo lingo and YouTube), Facebook(already done), IG(done), Amazon(done aside from that my mastodon instance uses their cdn), Apple(almost done) and Microsoft(done). I also want to give any other trackers and profilers lots of unusable data. I wrote a few scripts for this to change my browser user agent daily, spoof my MAC address and host name and generate random traffic.
@curufuin i see google capitol on their investor page. But not finding any hints of it being bought out. I guess the better question is does duolingo sell user data?
