As for your... interesting... take on copying information vs. the theft of a car, all I can do is further implore you to please, PLEASE, seek help from a medical professional. People who publicly put their words out in public, on public timelines, with a public scope, with the express purpose of said words being publicly seen by members of the general public, and commented on in a public forum, are typically looking to *expand* the reach of their words, and have that reach amplified, not to shrink it.

There are millions of marginalized people in countries where not only is it illegal for them to participate in anything other than "straight" sex, but it's illegal for them to even discuss being who they are, or exploring who they are. This is because **they don't have the free speech protections you and I have**. STOP SHITTING ON THIS WONDERFUL FREEDOM YOU HAVE, AND FIGHT TO BRING IT TO YOUR "COMMUNITY" WHO NEEDS IT, AROUND THE WORLD. You've previously accused me of running Pleroma on this domain when it clearly runs Mastodon. You've previously accused me of making changes to it to "bypass blocks", when I compile Mastodon straight from source, with no changes (other than character limit increase). What made you think this? You, supposedly a computer programmer, jumped right to paranoid delusions of someone "bypassing blocks" by editing mastodon source code, instead of thinking "huh, decentralized systems have consistency problems. how about that?"

Then you claimed that the Misskey instance (that said Misskey all-the-fuck over it) was running pleroma. It looks like anybody who you don't like runs pleroma, regardless of what they actually run.

anyway, the next time I do a sprint on fediEngine, I'm going to focus on the "filling out" parts of the fetcher (looking for and fetching missing things rather than just getting the first or last things), and get some export facilities going.

That should allow the simple creation of per-actor, per-tag, or even per-instance searchable text archives, that can be shared as attachments to statuses, or even shared over BitTorrent.

But I'll be hosting mine on a .onion so we can see the tumblrverse pull a Jason Lee Van Dyke and try going after The Tor Project.
