The Capitalist System

For generations, organized labor and working individuals have built our communities while paving the way for a 40-hour work week, better working conditions, benefits, and a minimum wage.
On this day, we celebrate their achievements and grit, especially throughout this pandemic. Thank you for all of your hard work. Today and every day, honor the contributions of union members and labor and the improvements fought for by organized labor that have benefitted all workers.
Although the battle over these issues would seem to have been won long ago, we are still fighting today for fair wages for workers and for their rights to organize.
If youโre working today, thank you. If youโre off, enjoy your day. Be extra kind to any workers you encounter. Wishing everyone a happy & safe Labor Day. ๐บ๐ธ
Wishing all my Canadian and American working brothers and sisters a safe and happy Labour Day!
