The difference is how you treat people when you are at your worst, not your best. If you treat people well when you are at your worst, when you are mad at them, you'll keep them as friends. If you don't, you'll lose them, as they'll be worried about receiving verbal abuse if you get angry and go off on them.

Next time, calm down, relax, and DO NOT RESPOND if you are angry. Don't threaten to hurt or kill someone, don't say you hate someone, and in time, you may make more friends, and rebuild the relationships you've burned with everyone on this network.
