@coyote @stux @11112011 @ringo Yeah, I think "because some people there were disrespectful, we have dropped the entire instance" is throwing the baby out with the bathwater and "and that's why free speech is bad" is a really bad opinion.

(The "punk-ass bitch" remark was glib; I don't like instance blocks, but stux and I had pleasant interactions, and I don't remember any bad ones. A courtesy notice would have been nice, or soft-blocking instead of hard-blocking. But I'm hacking on a thing to solve this. One might call it the...final solution to decentralizing fedi. )
