One time when I was very young I had a three-way with this guy I knew and his girlfriend. I didn't know this guy that well and didn't know his girlfriend at all but he assured me she was way into it. He even said he let her pick the 3rd and she picked me so I figured, why not, living the dream and all that, so I went. We smoked some bowls and I made out with his girlfriend for a little while before we Eiffel Towered her. As soon as we were done she jumped up and ran into the bathroom and started crying and he called her a dumb bitch and went to the kitchen naked for more beer. I was very uncomfortable and put my clothes on while his girlfriend cried in the master bathroom. I tapped on the door and asked if she was all right and she said she was but clearly she wasn't and she asked me if I thought she was a whore now and I said no. She said she was really ashamed and I asked her why, her boyfriend said she was really into it. She said she was just pretending to make him happy and she was afraid he was going to dump her anyway. Finally I asked why she picked me as the 3rd and she said "because I thought you'd say no" and I walked downstairs, out the front door, and into the night and never spoke to either one of them again. Later I heard the guy had gotten his girlfriend pregnant and was telling people I was a closet fag so maybe she got pregnant with a French Eiffel Tower baby idk. The end.

been reading about Mongolia, after the 40s until the fall of Socialism in the 90s the views about Genghis Khan were not entirely favorable, much of his identity was viewed from a marxist point and while some events such as his birthday were allowed to be celebrated it was discouraged to hold him in a positive view as not to encourage too much nationalism, one of the most tragic things is that in the Russification process their peculiar mongol script faded in favor of cyrillic (it still remains in use in China in Inner Mongolia), http://www.chriskaplonski.com/downloads/Disappearing.pdf

@icameheretoawoo@kiwifarms.cc Definitely do it. Linux is great on older hardware. It runs so much better than Windows it breathes new life into a computer. My first computer had Windows Vista on it and when I tried Ubuntu Linux for the first time I was blown away. I didn't even know the computer could move that fast. What a time to start using a computer the fucking Vista days. Christ's sake 😂

@static Lol I've never tried slackware. It and Gentoo seem to be the two distros that everyone shit on but they could be rally good for all I know. I've basically only tried Debian and Red Hat/Fedora based distros but there's definitely a wider Linux world out there. Also there's BSD. @icameheretoawoo@kiwifarms.cc
@icameheretoawoo@kiwifarms.cc If you have a hypervisor installed like Virtualbox or VMware you can just install in a virtual machine and then you don't have to be worried about breaking it. Just take snapshots so you can revert. Easy peasy 😁
@icameheretoawoo@kiwifarms.cc Yeah Linux Mint is probably the way to go then. It's honestly a great distro. The guys behind it really listen to their community. I used it for many years.
@icameheretoawoo@kiwifarms.cc I'm partial to Debian-based distros. I usually recommend Linux Mint to people just starting out with Linux because it's very similar to Windows in terms of the desktop. Are you coming from Windows or Mac?
