To all those that want to wholesale block instances: the #Fediverse is too important for it to be turned into your hugbox and no one is interested in your hysterical cries of "but...but...but...Nazis!".

The great thing about the #fediverse is that we are not simply waiting for some slimeball (Andrew Torba) to save our free speech for us. We are picking up the tools and doing it ourselves because we can do it better.

To those who are concerned about the potential influx #gab users I have just one question: do we want to increase the relevance of this platform? The fact is if mainstream adoption is the end goal then you have to accept that the #fediverse will have some distasteful people in it. I'm of the opinion that it's a price worth paying.
