The issues and method be present a very true in my opinion. They're basically the opposite of the work of Marshall Rosenberg's NVC methodology.
Both work are complementary and validates each other.

I'll also add that the work of John Taylor Gatto is also a good example to look in. Not quite as direct as Bezmenov's work, but the examples are also valid.
