Turns out my cheap modem/router combo caps out at 200 mbps
Also every unmanaged switch i add to my network, each hop, appears to cut speed in half due to duplex mismatch
I didnt notice until a couple days ago. I thought it was the cables so i replaced most of them and it actually got worse.

@dielan That's weird 😯 I was having a problem a while back with devices falling back to fast ethernet and I thought it was the cables but maybe I was wrong...
In fact when i take the cable in my office that goes to the first unmanaged switch and plug it to my computer directly i get the whole speed
So i replaced that switch and the 2nd cable from it to my pc but no change lol
