@yes Are you actually equating Signal and iMessage as if they are equivalent? Signal is indeed centralized but people moving to it would be a huge improvement over iMessage.
@terryenglish google messages is planning on implementing racheted encryption and would be, objectively superior to signal when they do.
@yes Ratcheted encryption like the kind that WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Signal, Element and many others already implement? I'm not sure why that sets Google Messages apart. Plus I mean it's Google. 🤷♂️
