Maybe if the US government had handled the crisis with some amount of competence the country wouldn't have been as much of a powder keg looking for a spark.

@realcaseyrollins Fauci was only trying to do his job in protecting the public. The media turned what should've been a non-partisan crisis into a partisan one by pitting one problem against the other. The virus and the economy need to both be handled, not just one or the other.

I don't care that he tried because he was wrong at nearly every turn and likely caused more harm than good.

He was? I didn't get that impression. But he got more things right than Fauci, which says something about both Fauci and Trump's ability to get competent advisors around him.

@realcaseyrollins Except for downplaying the severity of the virus, doing almost nothing to keep people financially afloat during the lock down and telling people to ingest bleach to kill the virus. Stellar leadership.
