Would anybody like my take on why people support the overthrowing of China but not of America?

Hint: one of them is majority non-white.

@kaikatsu they both are oppressive. If you call either just or good you are concave.

@a7 CCP is objectively good and pulled hundreds of millions out of poverty
@kaikatsu @a7 @terryenglish lol ive seen so many pictures of this. it really shows how little evidence of anything the "CHINA!!!!" crowd actually has -- whenever they find pics of anything at all from asia that looks unfamiliar or mildly unsettling to westerners they just post it everywhere screaming "THIS IS PROOF OF COMMUNIST UYGHUR GENOCIDE (but also nuke all muslims)"
@velartrill @a7 @terryenglish Plus the brand shown at the end is a news company almost dedicated to anti-China propaganda translation. Even if it actually took place in a Chinese police station, at no point does it even say the guys only crime is anti-police talk. It could very easily be cut to seem that way.
If you talk to people who are actually in China, you see that you can openly criticize the CCP. And he got put in a restraint chair also mentioning that he's drunk: probability that he took a swing at the cops is very high.

@kaikatsu @terryenglish @velartrill im just asking cause im looking for work, got no big loyalty towards america i could do some pro china post at a rate, im good at saying things i dont believe in

@a7 I feel like I've gone back in time to the 1970's. I'll never understand why some left wingers today feel the need to defend the red fascism in China. I am all for a nuanced and fair analysis of China but this knee-jerk reaction to defend China makes no sense to me. They are more a state capitalist country now more than a communist one anyway. @kaikatsu @velartrill
