@cowanon Definitely seems that way. It appears as their movement loses more and more relevance it becomes more and more extreme. Kind of funny how that works. Also a lot of moderate voices being pushed out as a result.

@terryenglish Bro that kind of shit has been happening for at least the past 30 years. It’s just they stopped trying to hide it for the past several years because they figured out people will STILL believe it’s about equality when it never was, because people are dipshits.

@cowanon It's quite sad. Fortunately most of the women I know have more or less the same view as me which is basically just to regard it with mockery and ridicule. The time is coming real soon where no one will refer to themselves as a feminist un-ironically and without laughing afterwards.

@cowanon Unfortunately for feminism women have opinions of their own and think for themselves. They can see that feminism makes no real sense anymore in this time and place.

@Ox @cowanon Obviously there are some who think that feminism has legitimacy still. I'd be curious to hear the some of those reasons. Time and time again though polls reveal that most women don't identify with feminism.

@pernia When polled most the vast majority say they are in favour of gender equality however will not identify as feminists. There seems to be a broad understanding that feminism has abandoned any pretense of gender equality among women. That's bad news for that ideology and movement. @Ox @cowanon

@fluffy I think what we are seeing is the Ludendorff Offensive of the feminist movement. They've lost a significant amount of influence on Millennials and have completely lost the zoomers. The movement will be dead along with the boomers. @Ox @cowanon @pernia
