I mean, I know why this has happened, but FFS. Anyway, I haven't looked through it yet but it looks like a search warrant for Wikileaks' Twitter account and here is a reup to avoid contact with :fluoride: servers. :shitassdickfuckfluoride:

@fluffy @l0wk3y @wikileaks Okay, looks like they're saying that Wikileaks is on Russia's payroll.

Everyone already knew that, though. Wikileaks wants to embarrass the US, Russia wants to embarrass the US. It's like the :hulk:/:thiel: vs. Gawker lawsuit: the fact that someone paid for a thing is orthogonal to the merits of the thing itself. Wikileaks won't embarrass Russia and they have been involved in disinformation before, but they've also dropped a lot of really good shit.
@p @fluffy @wikileaks It didn't help that Roger Stone was out bragging about the fact he was talking with Wikileaks about dirt on the Clinton campaign.

Russia is basically a trailer park with nuclear weapons (could be cool depending on your point of view) and their only way of really undermining the US is by way of shitty hacks that embarrass us.

There was a terrible joke of a website set up called DCleaks.com that was obviously set up by the Russians, the language had all the inflections of a Russian attempting to use English by way of a computer translator. It had all these supposed docs from the Soros foundation. In actuality they just scraped his sites with something like Foca to snag a shit ton of pdf's related to fundraising.

Despite what the movies say, most Russian hackers straight suck. They're more often than not the infosec equivalent of a drunk breaking into a house by smashing the front window with a brick.

Roger Stone is crafty, but he's a relic of a bygone era. His stunts backfired bigtime in the information age.

@l0wk3y @p @fluffy @wikileaks I don’t think the Clinton email hacks embarrassed the US as a whole.

@lucky But the diplomatic cable leaks definitely did. Didn't they happen around the exact same time? @l0wk3y @fluffy @p @wikileaks
