Should firefighters be able to have unions?

Why should it be different for police?

Tbh I think anyone should be allowed to unionize, at their own peril, as I also think the gov should be completely hands-off about unions, allowing pinkertons and union busting, so long as no non-union-related laws are broken (violence, trespassing, spying that violates rights, etc).

The current gov union situation is a lose-lose for both workers and employers, with striking being illegal sometimes, or mandatory union dues regardless of membership in a union. The only winner is the professional unioners.

@aven That was a joke. I don't think it was all that obvious though to people who don't regularly watch. He has this thing with cops because his Dad was one. That wasn't really the main point of the video though. It was the residents of a city coming together to provide a service where capitalism and the "free market" was unable or unwilling to do so. @0 @petit @Elfie
