Flatpaks are also an option and are probably easier to use. I think Ubuntu based distros come pre setup for flatpaks as well.

@terryenglish @icameheretoawoo @Mikoto they dont. They come with snap package support, Flatpak is the fedora equivalent kind of. Not very hard to setup up either though

I hear that snaps have a proprietary and centralized back end under the control of Canonical. Gee I wonder why no one uses Ubuntu anymore lol.

Most PC users think that Windows is the sole computing experience. I'll say this about Apple, at least they give an alternative vision of computing even if it is a worse one.
