Also, I've found that ISPs that'll throttle your connection to an IPv4 address (i.e. a VPN or some people's fedi instance) can't seem to figure out how to do it with IPv6 or just don't bother.

I lived in europe once in an apartment where the wifi was ipv6 only. It was a disaster trying to do anything. Sure you could for example view youtube, but anything less obscure like gitlab or apt had errors.

I ended up having to set up an ipv4 tunnel to get any work done at home.
