@igeljaeger @terryenglish I'm not saying I don't believe you, it's just interesting, I think that the German colonies maybe held the Luteran faith more strongly here as a way of preserving their German identity here in South America...
@deadheat @terryenglish tbh most of the americas seem like the christian version of the middle east in terms of religious obsession to a european.

@igeljaeger @terryenglish There are the evangelical pentecostals who are a little crazy, but not in the sense of being aggressive and disrespectful, they just like their noisy celebrations.
The traditional Luterans are the nicest people you could meet though, very polite and friendly. I'm from a Catholic family but my aunt married a German Luteran, and through them I got to know that community a little.
