like, news reports talk a lot about the disinformation and influence campaigns on facebook targeting people on the right, and they nod to twitter and instagram, but they don't really talk about the ones on tumblr that very successfully targeted the left
politics and such
the russian-sponsored posts are there. they happened. their provenance is pretty clear. how much they affected things is another question, which is unanswerable, but denying it wholesale doesn't help us.
