I mentioned all of them. He wrote about the controversy about GPL, on this topic he was quite familiar and linked a website where he had written about the topic at length.
I wrote him about F-Droid, but I think the core of the issue is the activism on the part of certain people in the mastadon community to try to deplatform politically misaligned individuals. I wrote about that as well. These topics of course are impossible to decouple from Gab, so I mentioned that as well.
A proper treatment of the topic would include all three of those.
Someone in a particular sock knitting matrix room I frequent emailed him about the issue of tusky blocking gab, and the general point he made was that while they're free to do so, he'd much rather people kept softwares free. That said, this was like a month ago, before gab actually migrated, and so was mostly based on speculation. To my knowledge, :rms: always reads and replies to emails, or at least the non-smam ones, but he's probably autistic enough to read every single one.
