@nitrokey I can't seem to get past this while trying to sign up for NitroChat. I don't know why. 😞 🤔
I have to say that I am a little disappointed with #LibremOne. It was once supposed to be a unified ecosystem of privacy-oriented services but now I feel it has fallen into obscurity and a general lack of maintenance.
Although it has been my gateway into the #Fediverse and #Matrix, I think it's now time for me to move on. I really hope @purism would be able to sort out the issues with this service because I honestly think it's a brilliant idea.
Sorry, Tux. Never met a cheese I didn't like, but I can't say the same for Linux distros 😅

Thanks to @gamingonlinux, I was able to switch to a self-hosted setup as my backup solution. #Syncthing is really amazing.
@thelinuxEXP It seems someone at ZDNet watches your channel! 😁 They appear to have taken your advice on recommending 'desktops', not distros.

This. No one is ever saying GNU/Linux . And then you'd have to add all the other projects that are as important, if not more than the GNU tools. Everyone knows that when you say "Linux", you mean the entire OS, based on context, everything else is pedantic.
RT @jason_techstuff@twitter.com
The word "Linux" has entered into the English language meaning a complete Unix-like operating system based on the Linux kernel.

I implemented floating URL bar view in Libadwaita version of Firefox GNOME Theme. It's getting pretty cool.

Is there any interest in an official Pixelfed hosting service?
Pay as low as $5/month for your own instance with an export feature to easily migrate your data to your own server down the road if you choose.

For anyone looking to update their username and email address for all previously-made commits in a Git repo, take a look at this. It might be a better option for you than 'rewriting' your entire history.

Just moved from #GitHub to @codeberg@mastodon.technology. While it and, by extension, #Gitea clearly draws a lot of its inspiration from GitHub, I much prefer Codeberg's cleaner look. I feel even the documentation is much easier to understand for beginners as there is much less clutter. Keep up the great work, guys! 👍🏽
