@purism This is just an update. I am still shopping for a good Mastodon instance to join. It seems I'll probably be sticking around on this instance for a while. 🐘

@Mrfunkedude @zwarf Would you mind sharing what those applications are? 😃 Also, have you tried using ?

@killyourfm Is this show available anywhere other than Spotify? I used to have a Spotify account but I've switched to buying music ever since.

Thank you for the review of the Murena One and /e/OS V1 Android Central ! 🚀

"The Murena One (...) runs the excellent Google-free /e/OS. It's a great phone for anyone who wants less Google in their lives."

@michael @Tutanota Yeah. I definitely agree. That's why I use . It's open source and highly customizable. However, its predictions (word suggestions) are definitely not as great as ones you get on GBoard. If you can live with that, it's awesome. ⌨️ 📱 🤓

@Tutanota Just imagine what Google's keyboard (GBoard) is doing...
All the privacy hardening in the world doesn't matter one bit if your keyboard can snitch on every web address, password, and sentence you type.

Okay, time for a new #poll. How many different #web #browser do you use across all your devices? IE, #phone, #tablet, #laptop #computer, #desktop, etc.

And I mean all different browsers: #Chrome (and chrome variants), #Edge, #Safari, #Firefox (and Libre Wold, Seamonkey, etc.), #Vivaldi, #Opera and all others.

As always: please boost so we get some really good data.

@Unatributed I mainly use on both desktop and Android. It's now an essential for anyone who cares about privacy (and it's proven).

Besides, I am quite fond of it. I find the overall aesthetic and user experience to be much better. It's simple and clean. Then again, it may be because I am so used to it. 😄

@bitwarden Better integration with privacy-focused, open source solutions is always welcome! Well done, guys, and thanks. 😄

I was thinking about this (andy.works/words/the-most-sati) blog post about adding "juice" to products. Instead of thinking about juicing something, my instinct was to think about how to make it completely over-dramatic. A file compression utility:

@antolius I agree. It really is annoying when websites hide the RSS link. I've had to dig through the 'page source' way too many times to get it.

@Suzie97@mastodon.social They don't really say that 'Flatpak' is the future, though. They were talking about containerization tech in general.

It really was an interesting episode, however. Thanks for the recommendation.

@omgubuntu I agree with the author. It is pretty nice to see that GNOME is recognized even at a company like Microsoft. 😄

@doctormo @grischa @inkscape @codeberg@mastodon.technology That's interesting. Have you released the source code yet?

Do you authenticate to various websites with your Github, Google or Facebook account? Be careful, if you get blocked by these companies, there's virtually no recourse and you might have a serious problem!
