@JoshStrobl Do you prefer to use the Spotify web app, the Linux client or 'ncspot'? ๐ค
Look out! System76 is following a growing trend of Linux distributions using a 'Pay What You Want' model. After being highly popularized by the folks at Elementary OS, this business model has started gaining traction as an ethical method of receiving funding for FOSS projects. What do you think? Is this the way forward?
@Tutanota Soundcloud and FIimmit seem to be doing pretty decently. They are only 'unsatisfactory' when it comes to the data retention period.
@lunduke Linux may be in second place at a glance for the lowest percentage of unhappy users but it actually has the lowest 'number' of unhappy users. That is showing 10.5% of roughly less than 2% of the desktop market share. Am I right? ๐ค
@protonvpn @fdroidorg@mastodon.technology Cool! I've been waiting for this for a long time. I am glad it has finally come. It makes using ProtonVPN away from Google much, much easier. Great job! Thank you for all your hard work! ๐ ๐
@Tutanota Do calendar notifications have a sound to alert the users? I find this an important feature as I often forget things. ๐
@Linux4Everyone@fosstodon.org @tuxedocomputers When is the next video going to be released?
@omgubuntu That's cool. I love the new interface tweaks!
@JoshStrobl Is VSCodium available in the Solus repos?
@nopefish@mastodon.technology @libreoffice While I would personally recommend LibreOffice, you are not restricted to that alone if you use Linux. Microsoft Office Online is definitely an option for those who need something familiar.

@lunduke I don't get it either. ๐
A special thanks goes to Hanna from @Tutanota for making this interview possible. ๐ ๐
As promised, here is the interview with @Tutanota. Enjoy! ๐

@lunduke A very logical and unbiased article! It is indeed a 'bummer'. The Linux community should not be discouraged, though. This just shows that we need to keep improving Linux. Join forums, help squash bugs and translate projects, create new apps, etc....
P.S. No more distributions!
Have you ever wanted to create distributable, platform-independent forms for surveys you needed to conduct? This video explains how to create a PDF Form using the LibreOffice suite.

@freedcreative@merveilles.town I've always wanted to try FreeTube. The only reason that I've avoided it is because third party apps and services often have issues interfacing with YouTube. In the end, that is why I advocate for platforms like #LBRY.
@freedcreative@merveilles.town @e_mydata I can relate. ๐ If you looking for an 'ethical phone', it might be worth it to take a look at the #Librem5 or #PinePhone. However, they don't have the same focus on sustainability as the FairPhone.
