@Tutanota I've been noticing recently that a few of my emails have been getting tagged as spam mail. I am glad to see this issue has been resolved. ๐Ÿ˜„

@omgubuntu is making some great progress. It is truly a great tool to browse the web.

@purism @chomwitt I would be very interested in seeing that too! ๐Ÿ˜„ It is quite nice to see how open you are about the development process. I know that many of us know how frustrating it was to blindly trust companies while we had no authentic way to verify it. I truly appreciate that ethical companies, like yourselves, are doing something to change that. ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ†

@omgubuntu I am looking forward to seeing how the GNOME team will collaborate with @purism to make the more intuitive to use. It's good to see that some progress seems to be on the way. ๐Ÿ‘

@Tutanota I am quite glad that provided its users with a client and not a bridge. For most people, this provides a consistent UX across all platforms and generally boosts their workflow. It is one of the reasons I chose Tutanota. As a former user of ProtonMail, their 'Bridge' felt a little 'hacky' and a bit too technical. The end result was also marred by many UX issues. I understand why some people might need it but I feel that Tutanota made the right decision. ๐Ÿ˜

@LeBelle@radical.town @e_mydata You could just use /e/ os on your current phone. ๐Ÿค”

@Tutanota It's really nice to see that not only cares about their users' privacy but also for their well being. It is great to see companies with strong ethics and morals for a change. Keep going! ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘

More and more reviews are being published about our email service - and since a couple of months about our calendar as well. ๐Ÿ˜Ž It feels good to know that the data is safe in Tutanota: tutanota.com/blog/posts/tutano

@Tutanota Aren't you mistaken? I have been using the desktop clients for some time now and I have always received notifications. ๐Ÿค”

@ericbuijs @samkupar I agree with your opinion. Yet, the issue is it is the only alternative to WhatsApp which is on par with it in terms of features. It is also arguably more secure than WhatsApp due to its more privacy-friendly policies, clear definition of what goes into the cloud and its mostly open source code. This makes it much easier to recommend.

@omgubuntu It's good to see more and more software support flatpaks and snaps. It makes it easier for both newer and advanced users alike. ๐Ÿ˜

@omgubuntu Nice! This is exactly what we need. Linux is not just for the technically inclined and someone needs to shows that. Great job, @slimbook ! ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ˜

@JoshStrobl It's a little 'too crumply' for my tastes. What happened to the good old days of brick-like phones that could survive a bashing and hardy vehicles that could survive tough terrain? ๐Ÿ˜‚ ๐Ÿ˜‚ I get what you are saying, though. Let's hope that fixing things after launching a product doesn't become the norm in the future!

@JoshStrobl Are these guys pushing it too much? First, we had foldable smartphones that were not very durable and now this. It makes me wonder if everything in the future will collapse everytime someone sneezes! ๐Ÿ˜‚

@protonvpn @Orzesnet@mastodon.social I have noticed that you haven't included instructions for users of Solus this time. Is there a reason for this? ๐Ÿค”

@danarel@mastodon.technology I would like to bring to your attention a few errors on your site (thinkprivacy.io/). First of all, Telegram does provide a transparency report (t.me/transparency) and it is mostly open source. I would also like to mention that Wickr has only only released the source code for its cryptographic protocol as far as I know. I would also like to recommend LBRY as another alternative to Youtube. I am a huge fan of your work and I hope it keeps improving! ๐Ÿ˜

@cpt Tutanota did reply to your doubts: social.privacytools.io/@cpt/10. Please check your sources before assuming anything. Could please explain as to why you think Tutanota has backdoors?

@cpt @Tutanota Being open source allows independant security researchers to identify backdoors and flaws quite quickly. Any backdoor would have already made the news. Tutanota also has a Warrant Canary (eff.org/deeplinks/2014/04/warr) and publishes a Transparency Report (tutanota.com/blog/posts/transp). Tutanota was also subject to an extensive penetration test in 2013 (tutanota.com/faq#certification). If there were any backdoors, they would have been uncovered during the test. Keep it up, ! ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ˜

@protonvpn I am waiting for the GUI to come. It can be quite cumbersome to use the terminal at times.
