For everyone thinking this is fake or the trend has completely flipped with Russia being more trad than America or non-Soviet bloc parts of Europe since this data (2010), the most recent data available (2020) shows Russia's percent of pregnancies aborted at 28%, the highest of any country in Europe, with the US for reference at 20.5%.

Controlling for race- the fact that the US has blacks, which have a significantly higher abortion rate than Whites and Russia does not, the White abortion rate is far higher in Russia. For reference Austria has a rate of 2%, Ukraine 18%, and most European countries fall in the 10-15% rate.

I regretfully admit a lot of my personal philosophy boils down to "You can live on meager wages and be happy, but you have to labor at home too and give up the modern psuedo-luxury lifestyle, which also means social alienation, so about the "being happy part"... uh... at least there's faith in God and worship, being popular isn't all that nice anyways...."
It's a tough sell even to young men. I don't think I could ever convince an average American young woman to give up 90% of fast food and prepared/processed food, spend 5hrs a day on housechores, and only own a few sets of clothes and minimal furniture, and trade all partying for church activities.
