When I send an old-fashioned snailmail to a gmail/outlook pawn (b/c I refuse to put #Google or #Microsoft in the loop) & include an #XMPP address w/QR code in the header in case they want to reach me online (email addy omitted), it must be quite alien to them. Welp, it is what it is. If they feel a bit helpless maybe that’s a good thing… maybe they’ll try to overcome & use XMPP.

If I said I don't believe in or want democracy, what would you think of me?

You don't "have something to hide" when you put blinds on your windows or close the door when you're on the toilet, or wear clothes. Privacy isn't about having something to hide, it's not about keeping secrets. It's about being able to choose what you reveal about yourself, and when, and to who, and the other word we have for that is "dignity". Your inherent dignity, as a human being. Privacy is the agency you have over your dignity.

The more "security" a website has for logging in, the less I'm able to use it.

Anybody know of a good place/app for buying/selling crypto that is secure?

When they increase security for logging in, they say it's to keep your account "safe". The only thing that's being kept safe, is my account from me.

“Our systems have detected unusual traffic from your computer network.” ← When the traffic is always “unusual”, there’s something wrong with their definition of usual. At some point, these detection mechanisms should eventually learn that the behavior of Tor users isn't so “unusual”.

People say: "humanity needs to wake up". Then what?

SOYPOCALYPSE? lol
Brazil depends almost entirely on Russia's fertilizer. Economic sanctions against Russia mean no fertilizer exports. This means extreme shortage of fertilizer for Brazil, which provides more of the soy (and some other crops) imported by the USA.

Looks like the SOY BOYS will be missing out on their plant-based hormone disruptors!

Now Brazil is facing potential crop failures due to Russia’s freeze on fertilizer exports
