@Bumbleberry @Effortless shingles is very prominent among older folks because most of them had chickenpox when they were children, shingles is the resurgence of the same virus (as you said) from lying dormant for years, my grandma had it and she said it was one of the worst pains she has ever felt.

Last year my mother went through shingles. She was in a lot of pain for a few weeks, then it she was fine and got back to normal.
She still has some scarring from it though.
