angry about the bluesky bridge
@deneb @ruff accepting that participating in federation between activitypub servers is typically opt-out (not always!) is not the same as agreeing that any public activitypub post can be used however anyone wants. In this case, among other issues, there are technical concerns about how things like blocking and deleting will work across the bridge, and also an argument from the social convention that many of us are here to avoid commercialization.

@redoak @deneb let simplify it - any server supporting activitypub may abuse certain other server ToC, and for that there are user-level blocks and domain-level blocks for user and domain. I can setup a server which will be geenrating random user handling to send spam. And I'll quickly get ban for this. Tthat's pretty much it. Issue solved.

@redoak @deneb but the spam is real issue in hands. And you're blaming someone else for some theoretical abuse, which does not happen yet. Hypothetical "however anyone wants". If you write something on the wall anyone can make a photo of it and photoshop it however they want. And public message is more or less writing on the wall.
