@takao @ItsSkyDragonz @Moon e-mail is probably a better analogy. Although a lot of people don't realize you can run your own e-mail server and just use one of the big ones (google/microsoft/fastmail/etc.)

@takao @djsumdog @ItsSkyDragonz @Moon I'm running it for two decades and after initial setup (spf, dkim, tls, dane, etc.) I have faced only once with drops - from outlook.com. Not a big loss after all.
