Three toilet

Freezing floor tile,
a warm bidet in the dark,
and you, still asleep.

Put the book down and
get up from the couch to pee
and pour more coffee.

Washing these wet hands,

all over my shirt.

Three pandemic haiku:

masked now in hot smog.

We can’t vacation
due to plague. A whole year. I’ve
bought so much dumb stuff.

St. Helens through haze—
our fight last night was pointless—
this smoke-pink sunset.

“In an ideal world... saving function calls would be a task for inline functions, not macros. An ideal world is left as an exercise to the reader.” Paul Graham, On Lisp

Interesting list from The Mythical Man-Month. Still relevant.

Here’s something of a love letter to Linux in general, @purism in specific, and a handful of great programs as well: linuxjournal.com/content/hello. Thanks for publishing it, @linuxjournal!

Here’s a script that makes un/mounting usb drives easier, inspired by Nautilus, Finder, etc: richardmavis.info/easymount
