@purism #Meta couldn't respect our privacy even if it wanted: The government will start crying that it needs to spy on us in the name of safety, if we complain they make up bizarre stories about threats to children caused by the internet till they get their way. Corrupt corporations are a huge issue but secondary, the primary problem it all stems from is politicians and authority being out of control.
