> Our teeth are not shaped well for tearing meat.

Prior hominids had sharper teeth. You know what changed?

Three million years ago, we invented grilling. :boomer:

I'm completely serious: Australopithecus started cooking with fire and cutting meat with stone knives. So we didn't need as much jaw strength or teeth quite as sharp as we did before. :hanksmoking:

(Okay, technically it wasn't grilling, it was fire pits and pointy sticks.)

Cunts have been storing meat since the dawn of time. That's without the need for fuel or fire.

Then you've got the brain, enriched with circuitry developmental growth, adaptations etc.

That didn't happen on some foraging diet.
That took meat, fish and other reliable protein sources.
Environmental contexts added with say unfavorable fuel load shortages to utilise fire to aid curing/drying meats meant they had to be intuitive. Submerged in waters, under rocks, in pits, wrapped in animal skins etc. Cunts also will eat putrid rotting meat, even when not facing hardships. Native Americans did this, so gross. Khoisan gathering hunters did too.

Eat Moar Meat?
@thebitchisback

Maybe so.

Using this model, I am thinking the main driver for eating meat back then, other than the taste, was that the animals slayed to give that meat up were walking, flying and swimming plant protein protein processing stores.

In other words, meat was the low tech protein powder.

Of course we got tons of nutrients from fruits and herbs back then too, most actually.

And now, thanks to agro-tech we can have all sorts of simulated flesh from protein sources like soy, hemp, peas and so on.

Without killing cows and chickens and having their meat processed in low standard meat processing plants.

And with less fat.

Animal meat = low tech meat.

Let us evolve more.

Eat your veggie meat!
