@nickh Just like convos about which linux distro is better, genres of metal, etc. People really get their panties in a bunch over this stuff. Damn near militant at times. It's like
@nickh That's silly they did that. Whatevs.
@nickh The Duck browser on android is the same as the desktop version of Brave for stats pretty much running that test.
@nickh This was on my laptop. But i'm sure if Brave wasn't acting spazzy on my phone I'd go with it on there too.
@nickh I put Brave through the test at this site by the EFF https://panopticlick.eff.org/ and this was the results. It's not as solid as Alcatraz Prison but it's pretty decent for stats.
Good thing I just deleted my account earlier. 😂

@nickh Scoping out iftop on the command line I just what's running in my tabs currently. Only thing else running is some amazon traffic from server hosting the backbone of twitter.
@nickh Had no issues accessing one of my mobile banking sites, and PayPal through the Duck browser. Was able to shoot my roommate 50 that I toss him weekly to help out with bills. So definitely no issues with PayPal. the app sucks itself.
@nickh I can probably ditch the actual bank app I use since it does have a nice clean mobile layout. It's working with the Duck browser... Yeah I'm lazy didn't want to type the whole thing out. lol
@nickh So far I haven't seen any "google-ly" settings like the actual Chrome has. No online sign in to sync browser settings, etc. If you want to sync it with Brave mobile you have to scan a QR code to so. But I'll pop open a terminal app and scope it out. Working faster than Chrome was to say the least. or FF.
@nickh Well you see, on my laptop I block ads via a modified host file so there's a ton that don't get through. Now that Brave is on my laptop, even a ton more won't get through at all.
@neb Did that yesterday walking around town to run errands, etc. Always peaceful.
@nickh On my phone not as of yet. Temporarily switched back to Chrome. But I'll be testing it out. And removed Brave off my phone.
