@samlitzinger Mastodon will love this, but the system is totally broken with the contradicting rulings in the Apple case vs the Google case.

@notabird @samlitzinger Huh I wonder how much of the difference is due to using a jury here vs a federal judge in the Epic v Apple case. If anything, App Store seems worse than Google Play, no?
@mpanhans @samlitzinger Definitely worse. Not that Google isn't guilty, this ruling just makes it like Apple got away with it. A Jury verdict makes it unlikely this will be appealed. Is the Supreme court going to set the record straight in the Apple case on appeal? Doubt it.
