Again, context: Three #coronaviruscases in three states is NOT "community spread". Two of these cases were hospitalized 10 days ago. Where are the other cases in those communities?

@avoiceofliberty if the 3 infected people on the west coast didn't travel to affected countries or come into contact with known cases then it is most likely from an unknown infected person who did not go to the doctor over mild symptoms thus going about their daily lives spreading it all over. Remember 700 of the 6700 passengers on the Diamond Princess cruise ship got covid19. That's over 10% infection rate in close quarters. It's very contagious!

That's the problem with the data -- there should be more cases than have been reported.

@avoiceofliberty I totally agree. CDC only recommends testing on hospitalized patients with covid-19 symptoms. I suspect dozens of people currently have community sourced covid-19. Unaccounted/untested infected with mild symptoms are not represented in the data, which if included would push the fatality percent down.
