I just watched Star Trek (2009) with @notnomiSylimE.
When it first came out I actually enjoyed that movie.
But watching it tonight I realized how angry it was. Not really a great look for Spock of all characters. Plus, the music felt straight out of Lost. (I know, same composer.)

@gardiner_bryant @notnomiSylimE I just don't think you'll ever be able to beat the original universe. The stories and characters are truly well thought out and the design is unparalleled.
